MYSOORA MALLIGE TITLE STALLED!

At last national acclaimed director TS Nagabharana has been able to bring justice to the giant literary poet KS Narasimha Swamy ‘Mysoora Mallige’ brand that is household name in Karnataka. It is TS Nagabharana who made the same film title decades ago and earned laurels at the national level.
When TS Nagabharana advocate Harikrishna was on the dais at Green House Raj Milan on Thursday evening on announcing the cancellation of title to another Kannada film the heroine of yesteryears ‘Mysoora Mallige’ Sudharani was also in the auditorium.
Advocate Harikrishna disclosed that the title of legendary writer gets diluted with a film title ‘Mysoora Mallige’ that is close to porno film is the main reason for judge of the 19th additional court to cancel the title. The recent film ‘Mysoora Mallige’ maker argument went in vain.
On December 21 the judgment was passed in favor of TS Nagabharana. The case was filed by Dr KS Narasimha Swamy Prathistana and TSN. Mysooru Mallige has got reputation and good will and film produced by the paintiff s Mysoora Mallige is a literary film.
In view of the order the decision of Karnataka film chambers of commerce that popular title of the movies produced a decade back can be adopted by others for the movies has been quashed and therefore KFCC while approving the names will be careful and will not give permission to others to as to dilute the name of the movie which have created history, goodwill, reputation and has acquired public appreciation.
TSN hopes that this is followed strictly by KFCC.
